This is my 5,001 post.

I started on Instagram in 2012 … which means I’ve posted 5,000 times in 12 years … for an average of 416.6 posts per year. That’s more than once per day for 12 straight years!

I’ve been thinking about whether this is cool or terrible. Every single day for 12 years, Instagram has been part of my life. Has it been good? Detrimental? A waste of time? Inspiring?

Maybe it’s been a little bit of all of those.

Mostly, I have found Instagram to be just what I’ve wanted it to be: a place to visually inspire, a place to share beauty, a place to reflect and connect, a place to offer my gifts, creativity, photos and words all for the glory of God.

The quality of photos has changed, the trends have changed, the algorithm and pressures have changed, and over the years what I share has changed, but I’m really happy to say that I’m proud of what I’ve created in this little spot on the internet.

How cute is the new Christmas Watercolor Workbook?! 🎅🏽🦌🌲

I love that these workbooks take the pressure out of making art with sketches and step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow.

I love that a person who doesn’t normally paint with watercolors can open it up and make something pretty (I promise! You'll be so pleasantly surprised at how good your art will turn out!).

I love that kids AND adults are equally excited to use them.

And I especially love that they encourage a slow, peace-filled moment this holiday season in a world that rushes by.
