Freely and Lightly Resources

I am so glad that the Freely and Lightly book and Freely and Lightly Guided Journal – and my story – resonated with you. I hope your time reading offered some peace and practical ways to move closer to God and further from self-protection. That always seems to be the temptation, doesn’t it?! Keep trusting in His goodness and as you learn more about who He is, it will absolutely change how you look at yourself and the world around you. A few resources that I have found so helpful on my faith journey:

MUSIC

Worship music lets you borrow words and directs your heart toward what is true. I remember listening to this song over and over, not truly believing the words but wanting to so badly. On the final day of writing my book, I stepped away from my computer and turned the song on … this time I truly believed the lyrics. Tears streamed down my cheeks. He did it! He transformed this deep part of me!

The Feely and Lightly playlist is a continually growing list of my most loved worship songs.

One Minute Pause

One of the things I’m really learning right now is that God never intended for us to live independently. He made us for community. It’s with a close friend or spouse or small group of trusted people that we can talk about the things that confuse us about God and find encouragement. We can read and study and learn from others and ask questions and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to us and that is what a life of faith looks like.
